UI/UX Design - Fall 2024
Adobe Illustrator, FIGMA
A new personalized mental health app. Named Mind Compass, the app worked to provide aid based on daily survey results ensuring a unique experience for every user. App concept, research, and functionality was completed as a part of a team. All branding design was completed by myself.
Development - Group
Research into competitors revealed users felt lumped together with general advice and nonspecific affirmations. It was important that the app included elements individual to each user, which included a daily mental health survey, an archive featuring people's progress on their mental health journey, and a wide range of activities that could be tailored by each user.
Development - Individual
Logo development led me to drift towards an emblem design. In particular, the development of the brain outline to a more abstract sinuous path helped solidify the look and feel of the overall brand.

Prototyping revealed darker colors made the design feel too heavy. Consistent background design helped tie all pages together as one unified layout.
Final
Finalized design included a simplified color palette, rounded shapes, and a clear, user-friendly layout.
