Packaging for a faux hot sauce brand. Branding was centered around the namesake and history of the chupacabra, a mythical creature originating from Northern Mexico. The design serves as a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage.
Mock-Ups
Due to the origin of the myth, the font was chosen for its western, cowboy-esque feel. The shape of the label, colors, and patterns were all inspired by papel picado, a traditional decoration seen in Mexico.
